Sending you Sunshine!

You guessed it!  I created this card last week for the Peachy Keen sketch challenge but didn't finish it in time.  This week their challenge is Anything Goes.  Woohoo, I can still enter this card into one of their challenges.
My dear neighbor is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.  She had a treatment last week and I thought she could use some sunshine to brighten her day.

For this card I used the following:
Cartridge:  Create a Critter- one of my favorites
Stamps:  Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids and Scrappy Moms Spring Fling

I really love the color combination on this card.  I hope it makes her smile.

Daddy To Be

I mentioned in a previous post that I was making personalized treat bags for Father's Day.  I made this bag for my brother in law.  He is a Daddy to be of TWINS!!!!  We are super excited and looking forward to the arrival of the first set of twins in the family.

The carriage and babies are from Simply Charmed.  I used Pink by Design stamps and pieced together the Daddy to be with various stamps.  The bag was filled with a Daddy Diaper tool belt.  It was a hit with lots of laughs.  My brother in law is a good sport and now officially prepared to change diapers.

Last Day of School

I can't believe another school year has gone by.  This year was a great year, filled with so many changes and wonderful memories.  My baby is reading, writing, doing addition and subtraction.  Mama is so proud and probably more emotional than ever.  My baby is growing up.  Sniff Sniff.
On the last day of school I like to surprise my baby with some special presents and of course a card.  I love watching his face light up when he spots the gifts that  signify summer vacation is here.

In my eyes he is a super star.  One, that I am so proud of.  I couldn't be happier with all of his accomplishments this year.

This is a shaped card made with my gypsy.
Cartridges:  Baby Steps, Plantin School Book
Sentiment:  Scrappy Moms
Paper:  Bazzill, DCWV
Other:  Pop dots, GellyRoll Pen

Father's Day Gift Bag

If you know me you know how much I love to decorate and personalize treat bags.  It's one of my favorite things to do with my cricut.  So today I want to share one of the treat bags I made for Father's Day.  I have 4 more to make.  The one I am sharing today is for my Dad.  He loves to fish in his spare time.  Now that he has three grandchildren he doesn't have a lot of spare time.

I used several cartridges on the bag, Everyday Paper Dolls, Simply Charmed and Once Upon a Princess.  The Happy Father's Day stamp is from Scrappy Moms and the The fish was this big stamp is from Pink by Design.   I am looking forward to making the other bags.  I just hope I have enough time.

My stamping really stinks.  If anyone can offer some helpful tips I would greatly appreciate it.  It either have to much ink on the paper and the stamp looks sloppy and messy or to little and the ink is barely there.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
