I have a layout for two challenges this week.  I love Lasting Memories challenge, use your stash.  My stash is overflowing with scraps and stickers.  I had to participate in this challenge to help reduce my pile.  I used an old DCWV paper stack, stickers and solid card stock.  I don't love the color combination that I went with but I tried my best to use all scraps.  I also used the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy week 2 April.  I loved the idea of one picture.  I knew I had to use this picture of my cousin and her husband on their wedding day.
You can see that I used scraps.  The green background paper is not long enough.  Hahaha

These are the stickers that I've wanted to use for a while.  I didn't have a layout or paper that I they coordinated with.

Every Sunday I check out the Lasting Memories challenge.  This week the challenge is childhood.  What an easy one, when you have kids.  I had a couple of hours to myself on Sunday so I thought I could get a quick scrapbook page done.  I decided to use photos from last year.  We love fire pits.   I think it's more about the s'mores than the actual fire pit.  I used a DCWV paper stack, peachy keen stamps, the s'mores image is free from SVG cuts.

Lasting Memories Challenge with Numbers

Today I'm sharing a double page layout.  Can I get a whoop whoop???  Yes, I'm happy that I finally finished this lay out in time for the Lasting Memories challenge this week.  I was busy with etsy orders so I wasn't sure if I would have enough time to get this posted.  I'm so happy I found some extra time to fit this in.  So here is my double layout for my twin nephews arrival on October 18th.  I love this paper pack.  I used it for a 8x8 scrapbook that I made for my sister in law.

I added the date at the top and two journaling cards that came with the paper pack.  I added their initials on each of the journaling cards.  Now I need to add the pictures!

Snowman Kisses

Happy Monday!  It's been a while since I posted a card or layout.  I've been busy adding new items to my etsy shop!  Today I have a card to share.  It's for my mom.  We will be celebrating her birthday this weekend at a Hibachi restaurant.  I love it, sushi for the adults and entertainment for the kids.  Perfect!  My card was created with Elegant Edges and Winter Frolic.  The sentiment was made on my computer.  When I was taking this picture I noticed it was snowing outside.  I guess it was meant to be.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

All I Want For Christmas

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Today I am sharing a layout for the Lasting Memories challenge.  I was hoping to squeeze in one more layout  before the end of the year.  We visited Santa in November and my kids told him what they wanted for Christmas.  They never write a Christmas list, I guess they are a little lazy when it comes to that.  I found the Christmas trees and cute title on the Winter Frolic cartridge and thought it was perfect.   I looked through my stamp stash and found the sentiment Be Your Best Elf, a Studio G stamp.  I added some tags from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge so I could do some journaling.  I wanted to make sure I included everything on their wish list so I can remember in the future.

Lasting Memories Challenge

Here is a double layout for the Lasting Memories Challenge.  Another summer layout.  Boy, do I miss summer time. We had so much fun in our pool and at the beach.  My husband surprised the kids this summer with a slip n slide.   They were a little skeptical at first but once they saw mommy and daddy do it they were in.   So many laughs and great memories.
Sorry for the washed out photos.  I was in a rush to get this posted.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

The Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is, Bells are Ringing.  The prize for this week's challenge is the Snow Folks cartridge (so kindly donated by Erica's Craft Room).  This one is on my wish list and so I decided to give the challenge a whirl even though I do not own a cartridge with a bell die cut.  My bells were cut from the Christmas Cookie Collection from SVG Cuts.  My card base and circles were cut with Birthday Bash.   Love the shaped cards on that cartridge. I used Bazzill cardstock and DCWV 'Tis the Season paper pack.  I added some faux stitching around the bells edges, a poinsettia brad to the top of the bells and of course some bling.  A super simple card.
